Hanako started her Coeliac journey in the Summer of 2017. At the time, Hanako didn’t know anyone with, or anything about the disease. She found it a daunting and difficult process to switch to and maintain a gluten free lifestyle, even with all the support from family and friends. Hanako had so many questions and no idea where to get answers. This motivated her to start Coelihack in 2018 with the help of her best friend Rhiannon.
Rhiannon is a freelance graphic designer who creates quality, thoughtful designs with a focus on attention to detail, visually communicating brands and ideas. Drawing on her creative skills and experience, Rhiannon’s collaboration was essential in bringing the Coelihack brand to life. After watching her best friend struggle with Coeliac disease, Rhiannon’s focus was on designing specialty products that would help.
By combining Rhiannon’s design skills with Hanako’s business background and gluten free living experience, they were able to turn the idea of Coelihack into a reality.
Coelihack aims to explore and discuss social issues that may arise when living a gluten free lifestyle. By exchanging tips and ideas with fellow Coelihackers, and being better prepared with our specially designed products, we hope you’ll feel more comfortable in the situations you may face.
